There are some great items to bid on, including signed ARCs, manuscript critiques, a poetry critique from our own Kelly F., and (to be posted in a future batch of auction items) a copy of <i>The Latte Rebellion<\/i>, signed by yours truly, plus bookmarks. Donation proceeds will go to the UNICEF U.S. Fund.  Also, YA author Heidi Kling is hosting a <a href=\"http:\/\/heidirkling.tumblr.com\/\">Doctors Without Borders fundraiser<\/a> on her blog.<\/p>\n<p>\nDon&#8217;t forget to hit save! Check out Robert Lee Brewer&#8217;s tips for avoiding computer-related writing disaster on his blog <a href=\"http:\/\/robertleebrewer.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/how-to-protect-your-writing-from.html\">My Name Is Not Bob<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\nVia the SCBWI Expression newsletter, a BoingBoing post on what it&#8217;s like on the inside of James Frey&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.boingboing.net\/2010\/11\/12\/inside-full-fathom-f.html\">YA novel assembly line<\/a>. Plus, an article about series books and the YA-oriented <a href=\"http:\/\/www.daemonsbooks.com\/2011\/02\/11\/the-business-behind-young-adult-novels\/\">book packaging industry<\/a>. Very revealing. We love that book here at FW, and all we can say is, he&#8217;d better do it justice. Yeah, Jude Law, you heard me. You too, Ben Kingsley and Sacha Baron Cohen. (Jeez, is there anybody NOT in this movie? Besides Charlie Sheen?)<\/p>\n<p>\nThis week on <a href=\"http:\/\/guyslitwire.blogspot.com\/\">Guys Lit Wire<\/a>: flying men and <a href=\"http:\/\/guyslitwire.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/floating-islands-by-rachel-neumeier.html\">Floating Islands<\/a>; Tim Powers blends <a href=\"http:\/\/guyslitwire.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/when-you-think-dark-do-you-think-dark.html\">beer, Arthurian lore, and magic<\/a>; and <a href=\"http:\/\/guyslitwire.blogspot.com\/2011\/03\/adios-nirvana-by-conrad-wesselhoeft.html\">flaming guitars a la Chris Barton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\nLastly, Patricia McKillip!! How much do I wish I could go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.norwescon.org\/\">Norwescon<\/a> next month?
