Our <a href=\"http:\/\/childrensbookambassador.com\/\">National Ambassador for Young People\u2019s Literature<\/a>, Jon Rhymes-With-Fresca, receives his medal as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loc.gov\/bookfest\/\">National Book Festival<\/a>, er, festivities.<br \/><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/_AS3Nr1ChgcU\/SN0as-C3s8I\/AAAAAAAAA5I\/vaRuaaEWKHM\/s1600-h\/Kidlit08ogo.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;\" src=\"https:\/\/writingya.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/Kidlit08ogo.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\"id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5250382100455470018\" \/><\/a>And, I&#8217;m (sort of) busily packing away for tomorrow&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/kidlit08.blogspot.com\/\">2nd Annual Kidlitosphere Conference<\/a> in Portland&#8211;yay! I&#8217;ll do my best to represent for FW and RR, and for the Cybils. I can&#8217;t wait to meet some of my online blogging friends in person for the first time (and see a few of you again!), and I look forward to some great discussions about blogging, writing, and books. I promise a full report (or at least an informative overview) after I get back. It may not materialize until Monday, though&#8230;I also have art appreciation essays waiting for me to grade when I return. D&#8217;oh.
