The questions are really thought-provoking, and have to do with culture, reace and ethnicity, and some of the mind-blowing assumptions we make about them. Check out<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mitaliblog.com\/2008\/08\/ten-questions-to-ask-about-story-5.html\" target= _blank> today&#8217;s question<\/a>, which is about accents. Hm&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>College guy talks books: <a href=\"http:\/\/guyslitwire.blogspot.com\/2008\/07\/higher-learning-2.html\" target= _blank>Higher Learning<\/a> @ GuysLitWire.<\/p>\n<p>Laurie Halse Anderson&#8217;s Mom is doing awesome (Yay, Laurie&#8217;s Mom!) and she shows off the <a href=\"http:\/\/halseanderson.livejournal.com\/208592.html\" target= _blank>UK and U.S. versions of her upcoming book<\/a>, CHAINS. I&#8217;m voting for the U.S. &#8212; the raised arms of the slave speak just <i>volumes<\/i> about struggle, the flag-touched birds, the sepia tones&#8230;wow. The UK one is pretty tame. And PINK! Lovely, but is that what  the novel is about?  <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the anniversary of Sara Lewis Holmes, America&#8217;s Child Bride. Twenty-four wha??? No. I don&#8217;t believe that for a second. She honestly looks exactly the same.
