MY. Color me cold and cranky and jealous. Apparently there was a kidlit event in <a href=\"http:\/\/cynthialeitichsmith.blogspot.com\/2008\/08\/austin-yl-youth-lit-informal-social.html\" target=\"_blank\">Austin<\/a> last week, where people got fangs. (And puncture wounds.) The East Coast contingent often has Kitlit Drink nights, and Little Willow rocked her cute purple at the SCBWI thing <a href=\"http:\/\/paulayoo.com\/content\/scbwi-natl-conference-day-3-4-august-2-3-2008\" target= _blank>while everyone else did red<\/a>. And now the <a href=\"http:\/\/kidlit08.blogspot.com\/\" target= _blank>Portland get-together<\/a> has a LOGO and Ms. Mac is <a href=\"http:\/\/maclibrary.edublogs.org\/2008\/08\/07\/it-is-august-i-wake-up-early-blogging-conference-news\/\" target= _blank>planning topics<\/a>, and LAINI TAYLOR IS DESIGNING <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cafepress.com\/kidlit08\/\" target= _blank>CAFE PRESS AWESOMENESS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Waaah! I&#8217;m five thousand miles away and have a novel to finish! *sniff!*<\/p>\n<p>Never mind. Ya&#8217;ll know I would&#8217;ve just held up a wall anyway.
