(Since the whole thing makes me want to just&#8230;splutter, I have conveyed my feelings visually instead.) For the record, I don&#8217;t just read YA books. In fact, I&#8217;ve been known to get excited reading the AP Stylebook. Seriously.<br \/>I did one other piece of online &#8220;artwork&#8221; (such as it is) this week, after blog bud <a href=\"http:\/\/saralewisholmes.blogspot.com\/\">Sara<\/a> pointed me to a post called <a href=\"http:\/\/gurneyjourney.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/art-by-committee.html\">Art By Committee<\/a> over on the blog of James Gurney, artist of the Dinotopia books. With reckless abandon I decided to participate, and you&#8217;ll find my sketch <a href=\"http:\/\/gurneyjourney.blogspot.com\/2008\/03\/your-khalian-sketches.html\">here<\/a> with a bunch of other much more professional interpretations of the theme. On the other hand, mine was somebody&#8217;s favorite, which makes me grin with glee. And, the person whose favorite I was, is an animator at Pixar&#8211;not too shabby!
