Can you say &#8220;project jumping?&#8221; I emerge, manic, from poetry wrangling all last night. I dreamed in iambic pentameter. It was not pretty. If you&#8217;re looking for pretty, <a href=\"http:\/\/chickenspaghetti.typepad.com\/chicken_spaghetti\/2008\/02\/more-natasha-tr.html\" target= _blank>via Chicken Spaghetti<\/a> we find a fabulous interview at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookslut.com\/features\/2008_02_012353.php\" target= _blank>Bookslut with poet Natasha Trethewey<\/a>, whose gifted poetry straddles worlds. Colleen&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bookslut.com\/bookslut_in_training\/2008_02_012389.php\" target= _blank>Booksluts in Training<\/a> are at the School of Hard Knocks, and this month include a review of Ellen Emmerson White&#8217;s <i>Long May She Reign<\/i>, which is steadily making its way to the top of my TBR List!<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m a bit late to <a href=\"http:\/\/bottomshelfbooks.blogspot.com\/2008\/02\/tuesday.html\" target= _blank>Bottom Shelf Books&#8217; review of <i>Tuesday<\/i><\/a> &#8212; but trust me, that book is quite surreal enough for the political landscape of Super Tuesday!! I remember just giggling the first time I read it &#8212; ah, the night of flying frogs &#8212;  and thinking that the creators were on that wonderful, mind-tripping substance called creativity. It&#8217;s a REALLY weird, beautiful book full of possibilities that can fit in a weird, beautiful world full of the same.<\/p>\n<p>Via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfsignal.com\/archives\/006218.html\" target= _Blank>SF Signal<\/a>, a Jonathan Stroud (of The Bartimeus trilogy fame) <a href=\"http:\/\/www.actusf.com\/spip\/article-5547.html\" target= _blank>interview at a French SF<\/a> website. Someone suggested graphic novels, and that really sparked some ideas. Now I&#8217;m looking for MG books with differently-abled protagonists. Anyone?
