Really."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Someone asked me this morning, in reference to my Blog Against Racism comments, if I&#8217;d ever read any <a href=\"http:\/\/writingya.blogspot.com\/2006\/02\/npr-reports-february-27-2006-author.html\">Octavia Butler,<\/a> and after I&#8217;d finished waxing poetic and mopping my eyes and explaining that I&#8217;d named a character in my latest novel after her (a high honor, from me), I pointed them to her <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Octavia_Butler\">Wiki<\/a> site.
