Always a bummer when a graphic novel imprint goes under.
About the author
tanita s. davis is a writer and avid reader who prefers books to most things in the world, including people. That's ...pretty much it, she's very awkward and she can't even tell jokes. She is, however, the author of eleven books, including Serena Says, Partly Cloudy, Go Figure, Henri Weldon, The Science of Friendship and the Coretta Scott King honored Mare's War. Look for her new MG, book Berry Parker Doesn't Catch Crushes September 2025 from HarperCollins Childrens' Books.Related Posts

Oh, man–that really is a bummer. I wonder if I can blame this on the “economic downturn”?
Colleen had said awhile ago that they weren’t catering to girls in a way that girls were getting — they were maybe not being carried as widely as they should have been in bookstores, etc. Probably that plus the fact that every four minutes someone else says that publishing is crashing meant that their parent company couldn’t take a chance on them anymore.
