Yes, indeed. Business has been booming in most libraries since the economy went bad. Every day, we're talking to people who need help figuring out how to update their skills and/or find a job. You can't believe the number and type of jobs you can't apply for unless you fill out an application online.
Aha. I have been wondering where I first read that. I may have mentioned this before, but our library system recently cut hours. They had an online survey this past week to ascertain what patrons want most, and I remembered just in time to answer for the patrons who are too young to vote as well as for myself.
