We heard about this program from Jen Robinson, our local reader evangelist, and though we’re not personally involved, we think the “Share a Story, Shape a Future” program is pretty cool. The idea of the program is to talk up books, and librarians, authors, teachers, and parents in the kidlitosphere will be basically doing that all week long — and swapping fun ideas, gifts, and prizes. We encourage you pop by and read and contribute to this celebration — we’re not parents or teachers or librarians, but we totally get behind celebrating reading, and sharing ideas on how to make it more accessible and part of the everyday life of everybody. And full props for the fabulous bear icon to Elizabeth Dulemba.
