…was the go-live day for WritingYA. We knew exactly …four people, thought our blog would only be read by our writing group, and most of our sidebar links were to author blogs — people we admired but with whom we had never conversed.
And four years later, we’ve discovered a vast network of interested, interesting, creative people — authors, librarians, booksellers, readers, teachers — people who like us (we assume) and who are like us in so many ways. Our focus has expanded to include interests we’d never considered, and we’ve grown smarter and better because of it. Though things have changed, we’re glad the kidlitosphere is part of our circle of friends.
Cheers to us! And cheers to you!
Happy Birthday! And here’s to many more great years to come…
Happy day! Here’s to y’all! (Cue sound of clicking glasses.)
Happy 4th Birthday!! We love you guys!
*Sending over a boatload of dark chocolate to celebrate* 🙂
Thanks, all! Mmm…dark chocolate! You like us, you really like us! 🙂
Congratulations!
Cheers! I’m glad you to know you both and to have been able to meet you in person, too.
I think I just missed my four year anniversary, too, around 2/21. We started blogging around the same time, but it took at least a year to find each other.
Those are some snazzy duds in that picture. Four-year-olds have all the fun, and so do both of you, clearly. Happy 4 Day!
