  1. Makes me want to cry, truly. Not just that it’s a fear of mine – to have my mind leave me – but because he’s such a fabulous writer. Yes, it’s selfish, but … it’s also that he’s such a fabulous person, and I only know him through his writing.

    Devastating.

    I’ve read everything I could find of his, several times over. I can’t imagine him not being there, writing such fabulous things.

    It’s like losing Madeline L’Engle or something, really.

  2. I’m frustrated by this news, too. It seems that there must be a cure right around the corner… there must. This is a disease that robs a person of his or her personality. It’s cruel, and I don’t accept it.

    There’s so much I don’t get.
