Zipping past on the way to bed…

Galleycat gives us the dirt on what librarians can and cannot do with the newest Potter. Who knew that publishers could make so many demands on libraries with regard to their books orders?! Since it’s somewhat of a symbiotic relationship, one would think… well, it’s business after all…

Via Mermaids, we discover that come August there will be a SEQUEL to Jerry Spinelli’s Stargirl. Very interesting; I always thought the Stargirl herself was something of an enigma; it’ll be interesting to hear her ‘speak’ in her own voice…

Blog tours — what a great idea! MotherReader got the ball rolling for Tracie Vaughn Zimmer, whose book in verse about a girl with CP is making some positive waves. Ciao, ciao…

About the author

tanita s. davis is a writer and avid reader who prefers books to most things in the world, including people. That's ...pretty much it, she's very boring and she can't even tell jokes. She is, however, the author of nine books, including Serena Says, Partly Cloudy, Go Figure, Henri Weldon, and the Coretta Scott King honored Mare's War. Look for her new MG, The Science of Friendship in 1/2024 from Katherine Tegen Books.
