TURNING PAGES: SORCERER TO THE CROWN by ZEN CHO

This is my favorite book so far this year. Seriously. Though this novel isn’t marketed to YA or as YA, this is a crossover…

TURNING PAGES: THIS IS WHERE IT ENDS by MARIEKE NIJKAMP

This is less of a book review than a book reaction, and is a little more self-indulgent than the way I usually book talk…

TURNING PAGES: SILVER ON THE ROAD by LAURA ANNE GILMAN

Another Western with a youthful protagonist, Laura Anne Gilman’s novel is the first in a sweeping new series. I read it — passed it…

TURNING PAGES: A WAKE OF VULTURES by LILA BOWEN

To begin with, this isn’t a YA novel. It’s a crossover adult novel, recommended for older YA readers due to some violence and disturbing…

TURNING PAGES: ALL AMERICAN BOYS, by JASON REYNOLDS & BRENDAN KIELY

TURNING PAGES: INHERIT THE STARS by TESSA ELWOOD

Who We Are

Wonderland started in 2005 as a collaborative space for our writing group to share news, links, book recommendations, and thoughts on writing for young adults.

Through various iterations, we've still held to our core vision, finding Wonderland, and sharing our discoveries.

We blog to hear ourselves think, in a crowded field, and a busy social-media laden world. We blog to create a corner of community, and hope you feel welcome here.

Click the links to discover more about what makes us who we are and about what we do. You can also visit Tanita on her official author site, and aquafortis on her official author site.

NB: as per the FTC Guidelines for blogging and endorsements, Finding Wonderland hereby states that unless otherwise stated (such as, if we get it from the library or buy it ourselves), readers should assume that every book reviewed on our site is provided to the reviewers by the publisher or the author free of charge or obligation. Please click here for our book review policy.
